Job description
As a Post-Doctoral fellow in microgrid research lab, he/she has the opportunity to work on research projects aimed at design and development in Microgrid cluster, blockchain for smart microgrid/grid.
He/She can collaborate with a team of experts in the field and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities
Responsibilities
Conduct independent research in the field of Microgrid technologies (transition towards Smartgrid prototype)
Inclined to Learn, Contrive and Develop various control algorithms for battery augmented 3kW Wind-Solar Rooftop renewable power system interfaced with WAVECT controller (Funded Project)
Develop innovative algorithms for improving the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems
Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance in the field
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate research findings at conferences
Requirements
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Thesis under review or a related field
Strong background in power systems, control systems, renewable energy technologies and insight on optimization algorithms and implementation.
Experience with smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems is an added merit.
Adequate programming skills in MATLAB, Python, BLOCKCHAIN or other relevant languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
