Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled
Datastage Developer
with hands-on experience in
Azure cloud services, SQL development, and database performance optimization**
. The role involves designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable, and efficient Azure-based database solutions that support critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Implementation: Build and deploy Azure-based databases using services like Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
  • Development: Write and optimize SQL and T-SQL queries for high-performance applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Data Security: Implement best practices for data security and compliance within Azure environments.
  • DevOps & Automation: Utilize automation tools and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for designs, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of overall IT experience with 2+ years as Datastage Developer.
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance.
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and DevOps practices in Azure environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of ETL tools beyond Datastage.
  • Exposure to data integration, migration, and modernization projects on cloud.
  • Experience in agile environments and cross-team collaboration.
