Associate General Manager

Job Purpose AGM- Airport Systems is responsible for executing and monitoring the implementation of critical airport systems such as VHT, BHS, PBB, and VDGS, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and statutory requirements. The role involves overseeing design coordination, providing technical inputs for procurement, and managing on-site execution including testing and commissioning. The role supports project handover, contract closure, and initial operational stabilization. By interfacing with consultants, contractors, procurement, and operations teams, the role ensures seamless delivery and readiness of airport systems while maintaining quality and compliance standards.  ORGANISATION CHART Chief Development Officer (CDO) --> Head- MEP & Airport Systems --> AGM- Airport Systems KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESResponsibilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Design Management•Review & validate airport system designs at various stages (concept to detailed) in coordination with design consultants and internal stakeholders.•Highlight site-specific issues, sequencing requirements, or service clashes that require design clarifications or adjustments.•Liaise with the CoE for incorporation of necessary revisions in issued drawings and ensure timely availability of GFCs for execution.•Participate in value engineering discussions related to airport systems to improve energy efficiency, reduce cost, or simplify maintenance.•Review WPS/PQR/WPQ and other fabrication documents as per project specifications. •Adherence to project specificationsProcurement Management•Support in reviewing technical specifications, BOQs, and tender drawings for procurement of airport systems and components.•Support procurement by providing technical inputs for tender documents, bid evaluations, vendor shortlisting, and material approvals. •Timely procurement, finalization of capable contractor / vendorConstruction Management•Develop and update detailed construction and commissioning schedule in coordination with contractors and stakeholders.•Oversee site execution and installation of VHT, BHS, PBB, and VDGS systems to ensure adherence to technical specs, timelines, and quality standards.•Maintain accurate records of minutes, trackers, and reports of meetings & progress.•Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with scope, timelines, and technical deliverables.•Facilitate integration of systems into BMS and SCADA, coordinating interfaces with MEP and civil works.•Coordinate with internal teams (Civil, Architecture, MEP, COEs) and external stakeholders (EPC contractors, OEMs), resolving interface gaps or sequencing risks through structured meetings. •Schedule Adherence•Time & Cost Adherence•Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment compliance Field Quality & Safety Management•Promote and implement safety policies across airport systems works for safe practices at all stages.•Review contractors' QA/QC plans and conduct regular inspections of airport systems works and materials.•Oversee testing and commissioning procedures, ensuring compliance with technical standards.•Foster an HSE culture in airport systems execution activities in collaboration with safety teams. •Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment compliance•Zero non- compliances to statutory requirementsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
