Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Media Faculty positions at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. The Media Faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in media studies, developing curricula, conducting research, mentoring students, and participating in departmental and institutional activities. This role requires collaboration with colleagues, contribution to the institute's academic environment, and staying updated with advancements in the media field. The position is located on-site in Coimbatore.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and teaching experience in media studies, communication, or related fields
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
- Strong research background and publication record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to student mentoring and advising
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive academic environment
- Ph.D. in Media Studies, Communication, or a closely related field is preferred
- Experience in using modern teaching technologies and methodologies
