Hiring for Business Development Manager
Industry: Solar & Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Energy Storage, Green hydrogen, EV, One charge)
Location: Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the company's products and services to prospective clients.
Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure client requirements are understood and met.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand presence and expand the professional network.
Lead and manage a team to achieve business development goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
a) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, MBA, or a relevant field.
b) 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy or solar power industry.
c) Strong understanding of solar energy systems, technologies, and market dynamics.
d) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing high-value deals.
e) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
f) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
g) Willingness to travel as required.
