Job Description:

Position: Executive Department: Accounts & Finance

Location: Shilaj

Reporting to: Manager - Accounts & Finance

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Finance Executive with around 3 years of experience in assisting with various accounting functions. The Executive will support the finance department by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial records.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
  • Assist in tax compliance activities, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Education Needed: Graduate degree in accounts or finance or similar.

 Work Experience Needed: Around 3 years of experience in a mid-sized manufacturing industry.

Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP) and MS Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Working knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
