The Platform Engineering team builds a scalable, extensible, secure, and high-performance foundation that powers multiple Netradyne products. This platform enables:

• A coherent and consistent user experience across products and delivery modes (Web, Mobile, APIs)
• Reusable components for cost efficiency, developer productivity, and maintainability
• A plug-and-play model for backend and frontend components

### What You'll Do

As a Staff Software Engineer – Platform, you will:

• Own the architecture and implementation of critical cloud platform components, including multi-region infrastructure, app platform, CI/CD, observability, and deployment systems
• Lead initiatives for modular codebases, internal SDKs, and shared deployment templates to improve consistency and developer velocity
• Design and implement high-throughput streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink) for real-time analytics and alerting at scale
• Drive cost optimisation, scaling policies, and capacity planning for compute, GPU, and storage

• Influence long-term platform strategy while contributing hands-on to high-impact projects

  What We're Looking For
  

  Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years in backend, platform, or cloud infrastructure roles
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
  • Strong experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink, Pulsar), data lakes, and OLAP systems
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, deployment pipelines, versioning, and rollout strategies
  • Strong coding proficiency in Java or Python
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Hands-on experience building internal tooling, SDKs, or reusable infrastructure templates
  • Proven track record in platform-wide performance, observability, and cost optimisation
  • Excellent communication and cross-team technical leadership

  Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GenAI tools or LLM-based developer workflows (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)
  • Exposure to edge-cloud integrations, OTA updates, telemetry pipelines
  • Experience transitioning from single product to multi-product architectures
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to navigate large distributed codebases
