RPA UiPath Developer

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.

• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.

• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as an RPA UiPath Developer you should have experience with:    

• Strong knowledge of UiPath tools, including Studio, Orchestrator and Robots

• Should have experience in UiPath production support and strong problem-solving skills

• Design, develop and optimize complex automation workflows using UiPath Studio, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.

• Utilizing UiPath orchestrator to monitor automation processes, analyse logs and proactively address potential issue.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for UiPath automation processes, addressing complex technical issue.

• Manage the full project lifecycle: technical design, development, testing, and post-deployment support. 

• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and optimized code following secure development practices.

• Familiarity with API integration (RESTful, SOAP) concepts

• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, BAs, stakeholders; participate in code reviews and promote knowledge sharing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Blue Prism development experience with proven expert level proficiency in development, including Process studio, Object Studio, Control Room and resource management

• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in scripting (NodeJS/VBScript), data manipulations and developing integrations using Python libraries

• Alteryx development experience

• Power Automation experience

• Banking industry experience
