IT Manager

Job Purpose:

The IT Manager oversees the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems to support business operations. This role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining IT policies, networks, and systems while leading the IT support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage IT operations to ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and networks.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, systems, and applications.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement of hardware/software, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement IT security policies, disaster recovery, and data backup plans.
• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and other departments.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
• Lead and mentor the IT support team to meet organizational goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or a senior IT role.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
