Job Description – Winder Operator

Responsible for operating and maintaining filament winding machines to ensure smooth and continuous production. The operator should monitor machine performance, check filament quality, replace spools, and ensure proper labeling and packing. Must follow safety and operational SOPs, maintain cleanliness, and report any defects or breakdowns to the supervisor.

Key Duties:

  • Operate and monitor winding machines.
  • Ensure consistent filament quality and correct spool weight.
  • Replace empty bobbins/spools and label finished rolls.
  • Maintain machine and workplace cleanliness.
  • Follow safety and production procedures.
  • Report machine or material issues promptly.

Qualification:

  • Minimum 12th pass or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in filament or textile winding preferred.
