Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer specializing in Java and Scala at YuppTV Inc., located in Hyderabad. The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, and programming tasks. The role involves working closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions, ensure system scalability, and collaborate on various project requirements. The individual will also be expected to adhere to best practices in object-oriented programming (OOP) and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Computer Science
  • Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
  • Proficiency in Programming languages, particularly Java and Scala
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the OTT or related industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
