Company Description

Decision Point develops analytics and big data solutions for CPG, Retail, and Consumer-focused industries, working with global Fortune 500 clients. We provide analytical insights and solutions that help develop sales and marketing strategies in the Retail and CPG Industry by leveraging diverse data sources, including Point of Sale data, syndicated category data, primary shipments, and other similar sources. Founded by Ravi Shankar and his classmates from IIT Madras, Decision Point comprises data scientists, business consultants, and tech-savvy engineers passionate about extracting value from data for our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Data Engineer - Snowflake + DBT Developer, located in the Greater Bengaluru Area with optional work-from-home flexibility (hybrid role). The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data models and data warehouse structures. This includes developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, performing data integration tasks, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data analytics solutions that drive business insights.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL processes
  • Experience with Data Warehousing solutions such as Snowflake
  • Skills in Data Analytics and leveraging data to provide business insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
