Requirements
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join our growing data & AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Fabrics unified platform, integrating capabilities across Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, and Data Lake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Work with Lakehouses, Dataflows, Data Warehouses, and Notebooks within Fabric.
  • Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes leveraging OneLake, Delta tables, and Spark engines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into

technical solutions.

  • Integrate various data sources (structured and unstructured) and ensure data quality,

governance, and security.

  • Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of data solutions within Fabric and Azure.
  • Work closely with Power BI teams for semantic modeling and real-time dashboards.
  • Stay updated with the latest features in Microsoft Fabric and adopt best practices.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Pipelines).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Data Services : Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Gen2.
  • Experience with Power BI, especially in integrating Fabric datasets.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps for data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer or Fabric-specific certifications.
  • Experience working in agile delivery models and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or other cloud-native analytics platforms is a plus.
