Marketing Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring competitor activity in the industry to identify new strategies or approaches that may be effective in the future
- Communicating with customers to answer questions about products or services they have purchased
- Helping to create and manage marketing campaigns by developing advertising materials such as brochures, pamphlets, flyers, banners, or event signage
- Coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure that all materials are produced on schedule and meet quality standards
- Developing sales strategies by monitoring market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth within specific industries
- Developing proposals to meet clients' needs by researching products or services, creating presentations and proposals, and negotiating terms with clients
- Supporting sales representatives by developing leads, scheduling appointments, arranging meetings with potential clients, and providing information about the company's products or services
- Coordinating with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies designed to increase brand awareness or promote new products or services
- Monitoring advertising campaigns to ensure that they are effective and meeting their goals
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong planning capabilities, organizational skills, leadership ability, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate in English and take a leadership role over the group for which they coordinate.
- Knowledge of import and export.
- Able to interpret internal and external business challenges with impact on the organization and recommends best practice solutions.
- Ability to analyze trends or deviations from standards and implement creative and unique cross-functional solutions.
- Proficiency with applicable software applications in related field.
- Able to effectively communicate complex information to both management and other employees, anticipating questions and focusing on key elements. Ability to implement and ensure compliance to company rules and business processes.
- Handles sensitive issues and exhibits exemplary customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is critical.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
- Organization skills - managing the efforts of multiple people and departments to achieve desired results requires staying on top of things and collaborating extensively
- Salesmanship - understanding the target audience and presenting information to them in ways that will lead to a positive impression of the company boosts profits
- Creativity - thinking outside the box leads to exciting campaigns that grab attention and generate sales
- Data analysis - sales and marketing coordinators should be comfortable inputting and interpreting data in order to draw sensible conclusions
- Problem-solving skills - critical examination helps sales and marketing coordinators pinpoint reasons behind situations, such as why sales totals were less than predicted or why an internet campaign isn't drawing sufficient traffic
