Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Durgapur for a Girls' Hostel Warden. The Girls' Hostel Warden will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents. Duties include managing the accommodation process, monitoring the behavior and welfare of students, enforcing hostel rules, and maintaining discipline. Responsibilities also include addressing any issues or concerns of the residents, coordinating with other staff members, and ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of the hostel.
Qualifications
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in handling young adults or working in a similar role
- Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline effectively
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergencies calmly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field, are beneficial
- Prior experience in a hostel or residential management role is advantageous
