Overview
TRC is seeking a strategic and collaborative External Communications Coordinator based in India to support communications that build our brand presence. In this role, you will help craft public-facing messages, coordinate media outreach and manage content across external channels.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team to help tell our company's story, highlight our impact and ensure consistent external messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Support media relations activities, including maintaining media lists and editorial calendars, monitoring coverage and tracking inquiries.
  • Actively seek out compelling stories that showcase our work and highlight how we are creating new pathways for the world to thrive.
  • Assist in writing pitch letters and news releases
  • Build relationships with our sectors to find exciting projects, milestones and achievements.
  • Help manage the content calendar for public-facing channels such as the website, newsroom, and social media.
  • Monitor news and industry trends to identify proactive storytelling opportunities.
  • Use project management tools (Asana) to track content progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or related role.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. Writing samples are required.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently, while also working collaboratively within a global team.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools (Meltwater, Cision), Asana, and Hubspot a plus.
