Frappe Framework Developer

Description
Our client is a performance rights organization in the United States. It collects blanket license fees from businesses that use music, entitling those businesses to play or sync any songs from the client's repertoire of over 22.4 million musical works. On a regular basis, the client distributes the money to songwriters, composers, and music publishers as royalties to those members whose works have been performed.

Requirements
Proven experience in developing applications using the Frappe Framework.

Experience with ERPNext and its various modules (e.g., Accounting, CRM, HR).

Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

Experience with building custom doctypes, pages, and reports in Frappe.

Knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL databases and writing complex queries.

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS

Understanding of REST APIs and building integrations.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience in a production environment with Frappe and ERPNext.

Job responsibilities

You will be part of a team responsible for building the Royalty management solution (consolidating data from multiple sources, performing financial calculations, generating analytics, and integrating with third-party payment platforms to ensure accurate royalty distribution to music creators).

Design, develop, and implement custom applications and modules on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and JavaScript.

Customize existing ERPNext modules to meet specific business needs.

Integrate Frappe applications with other systems.

Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and print formats.

Participating in code reviews and contributing to our development best practices.

Debug and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Frappe Framework and ERPNext features and updates.
