Role & Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from clients and worksite employees (WSEs) via phone, chat, email, or case management systems.
  • Research and resolve mid- to high-complexity benefits issues; escalate when necessary.
  • Process PeopleSoft (or similar HRIS) benefits events accurately and within deadlines.
  • Manage COBRA administration, FSA/HSA claims processing, and 401(k) plan support.
  • Oversee Leave of Absence (LOA) management from start to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless benefits administration.
  • Audit and verify peer work to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, benefits renewal support, or case resolution.
  • Mentor and train colleagues on case handling and benefits research best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits regulations and company policies.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in employee benefits administration or HR support.

  • Hands-on experience in COBRA, LOA, FSA/HSA, and 401(k) plan processes.

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle HCM).

  • Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service orientation.

  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of resolving escalated benefits issues independently.
