Roles and Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and manage GCP-based infrastructure using best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform / Deployment Manager.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Manage GCP services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, GCS, VPC, IAM, BigQuery, CloudProc, Cloudflow, Composer etc.
  • Set up and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Implement observability with Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring & Logging), Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Define and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and VPC networking for secure access control.
  • Handle incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments and reliability.
  • Passion for solving challenging issues.
