We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by designing test plans, identifying issues, and implementing automated test solutions to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing).
  • Build, maintain, and execute automation frameworks (web, mobile, API testing).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide actionable insights.
  • Implement best QA practices, improve test processes, and ensure continuous integration (CI/CD) testing coverage.
  • Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar for test case and defect management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for backend validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certification.
