Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Principal Officer for our broking entity in Gift city to lead and oversee compliance, regulatory, and operational functions at our Capital Market Intermediary. The Principal Officer will act as a key point of contact with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to all applicable financial services regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial services market experience and relevant professional qualifications.

Role & responsibilities

  • Act as the designated Principal Officer for broking entity based out of GIFT City IFSC for the capital market intermediary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities for entities operating within the IFSC.
  • Oversee the regulatory reporting, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement and monitor best practices in financial services operations.
  • Liaise with the Authority and other regulators for inspections, audits, and compliance-related communications.
  • Provide strategic advice on regulatory developments and operational improvements.
  • Lead internal compliance training and awareness programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduation and PG degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the financial services market, demonstrating deep domain expertise and leadership capabilities.
