Description

Job Title: Manual Tester

Experience: Minimum 4 years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and reliability of our legacy application built on C++ and Java stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Participate in UAT support and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensure compliance with QA processes and standards.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in Manual Testing (minimum 4 years).
  • Ability to create detailed test cases and execute them effectively.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Preferred Skills

  • Airline Domain experience.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux for basic commands and log analysis.
  • Understanding of Databases (SQL queries for data validation).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
