Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced O&M Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our solar projects at the megawatt (MW) scale. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing large-scale solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the operations and maintenance of solar power plants at MW-level capacity.

  2. Develop and implement O&M strategies to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability.

  3. Monitor plant performance, including energy generation, equipment efficiency, and downtime reduction.

  4. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely maintenance and issue resolution.

  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

  6. Analyze performance reports, track KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  7. Lead and mentor a team of O&M engineers and technicians.

  8. Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.

  9. Manage spares and inventory to avoid operational delays.

  10. Handle escalation issues, including inverter failures, SCADA issues, and client complaints.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

  2. 7 – 10 years of experience in the solar power sector, with significant exposure to MW-scale projects.

  3. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, SCADA, and plant monitoring tools.

  4. Proven experience in managing O&M teams and project execution.

  5. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement preventive measures.

  6. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  7. Familiarity with safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality standards in solar projects.
