Overview

PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. 

Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects we have a requirement for a Project Controller  join our Project Services, Bangalore. 

Responsibilities

Ensuring group standards for setup of projects are maintained & the development of these standards.Ensuring that databases are maintained in accordance with PM Group policies and proceduresEnsuring that P6 Enterprise structure follows Group proceduresEnsuring the User Access rights are in accordance with Group proceduresDevelopment of Group procedures, processes and standards to support the new and evolving integrated workflows and technologies.Setting up new users.Acting as initiation point for new licencesCo-ordination with the Digital Project Delivery Applications Manager regarding approach and strategy to licence procurementActing as first point of contact for all user technical queries / assistanceAct as the primary point of contact with PM Group Oracle partner (for P6)Develop training materialsMentor / train / rollout support of project controls applications across our office networkWork with the Business owners to establish a common data structure across Planning and CostProvide planning/scheduling support for projects when required

Qualifications

A primary degree in an Engineering or Computer Science related disciplineDemonstrated capability, expertise and experience in the management and administration of engineering software applications, ideally including planning & scheduling and cost management packages Demonstrated capability, expertise and experience in data analytics in a planning and scheduling context – have the ability to analyze schedules across multiple projects and to recognise, identify and collect valuable data and to use this for improved forecasting.Full competency in the use of Primavera P6 – particularly in the set-up and maintenance of P6 structures and ideally with at least 5 year's experience as a planner/scheduler in an EPCM environment  Demonstrated capability, expertise and experience in SQL database management and administration.Excellent communication, collaborative and people skills
