Position Summary:

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for a self-motivated HR professional who thrives in a flexible environment and is passionate about employee experience, compliance, and supporting company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Support team development through training, coaching, and performance feedback initiatives.
  • Maintain and update HR documents, employee handbook, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture in a distributed work environment.
  • Assist with benefits administration and liaise with external providers as needed.
  • Track HR metrics and provide regular reports to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR generalist role (1+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in a remote or startup environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HR software/tools (e.g., Gusto, BambooHR, Notion, or similar platforms).

  • Must have a high-speed internet connection
