Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata for a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and developing HR strategies to align with organizational goals. Responsibilities include managing compliance with labor laws, maintaining accurate employee records, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Additionally, the role involves designing training and development programs, addressing employee concerns, and implementing HR policies to optimize workforce productivity and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR policies
  • Experience in performance management, designing training programs, and fostering employee development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to strategize HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools for efficient workforce management
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in a managerial human resources role, preferably in the education or training sector
