Software Tester

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Perform regression, functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback for improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester/QA Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
