Position: PHP Laravel Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP).

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

• Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code.

• Create and manage database schemas and migrations (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Maintain documentation for developed features and applications.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel (v8/v9/v10 or latest).

• Hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.

• Solid understanding of MVC architecture.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, optional).

• Experience with Git version control.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations (Stripe, Twilio, AWS).

• Strong understanding of Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, Queues, Events, Jobs,

Middleware.

• Basic knowledge of testing tools (PHPUnit, Pest) is a plus.

• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
