Job Description:As a Manual QA Tester for Shopify websites and apps, you will collaborate closely with developers and project managers to ensure that our e-commerce solutions are seamless, user-friendly, and meet high-quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities:Cross-browser testing: Ensure consistent functionality and design across major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Responsive testing: Validate that Shopify stores and apps work seamlessly across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop). Regression testing: Perform tests to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality and critical features.

Functional testing: Execute test cases for new features, plugins, and integrations to ensure they meet functional requirements. Bug tracking and reporting: Identify, document, and report defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello). Collaboration with developers: Work closely with the development team to provide feedback, reproduce bugs, and confirm fixes.

Third-party integration testing: Test and validate the integration of third-party apps, payment gateways, and shipping solutions with Shopify stores. Test case creation: Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements and user stories. User experience validation: Ensure Shopify stores and apps meet high-quality standards, providing an optimal user experience.

Required Skills:1-2 years of experience in manual QA testing, specifically for e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of cross-browser testing and ensuring compatibility across major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Experience with responsiveness testing on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices using browser developer tools, emulators, and real devices.

Familiarity with unit testing concepts, although this is not a coding-heavy role. Strong understanding of regression testing and creating detailed test cases. Proven ability to identify and document bugs, using tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar issue tracking software.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Nice-to-Have:Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem. Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping apps). Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores.
