HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited was promoted by erstwhile Housing Development Finance

Corporation Ltd. (HDFC), Indias premier Housing Finance Institution and ERGO International AG, the primary

insurance entity of Munich Re Group. Consequent to the implementation of the Scheme of Amalgamation of HDFC

with and into HDFC Bank Limited, one of Indias leading private sector banks (Bank), the Company has become a

subsidiary of the Bank. The Company offers a complete range of general insurance products ranging

from motor, health, travel, home and personal accident in the retail space and products like property, marine and

liability insurance in the corporate space. With a network of branches spread across a wide distribution network

and a 24x7 support team, the Company has been offering seamless customer service and innovative products to

its customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Meeting the penetration percentage targets of HDFC products along with achieving the GWP (Gross Written Premium) and market share targets decided by the company
    • Cross-selling of products to maximize the profit
    • Regular interaction and co-ordination with the line managers, channel partners, Third-Party Team (TPT), Area sales manager, Business Development Representatives (BDR) and other sales managers of the bank
    • Connecting with the various teams including the operations and sales team of HDFC ERGO for any claim related settlements
    • Providing the required training to the Business Development Representatives
    • Achieving the daily target of 10 calls and reporting the work daily through on-call (huddles)
    • Containing required product knowledge and ready to travel minimum 2 to 3 days weekly
    • Adherence to 100% compliance

Key Requirements Education & Certification

  • Post Graduate from a reputed institute will be preferred with a background in Insurance or preferably from

General Insurance (GI).

Key Requirements Experience & Skills

  • Relationship building skills
  • Preference to candidates with Banca background.
  • Flexible to travel
