Here's what you'll be doing

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Web Developer, one who partners with us in creating beautiful products for teachers, students and parents alike. As a Web Developer, you will play a major role in developing the Toddle website, blogs, product and integrating marketing requirements. In this role, you will get the opportunity to work along with growth hackers, curriculum experts, and the product team.

Must-have Skills:

  • Frontend: Wordpress, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, and PHP
  • Tooling: Git basics, Chrome DevTools and Postman
  • Backend: RESTful APIs, Ajax calls and formats (JSON, XML)
  • SEO Basics: Familiar with SEO audits, page speed & Core Web Vitals, & sitemaps, hreflang

Good to have:

  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility
  • Ability to develop 
    custom WordPress plugins, modules, and themes
  • Understanding of 
    CDN, caching, and performance optimization
  • Experience with 
    multi-region / multilingual sites and SEO for them
  • Familiarity with version control workflows (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
  • Basic knowledge of  and Express

Is this someone that looks like you?

Education: B.E/B.Tech degree

Experience: 3 to 5 years of frontend development relevant working experience (SaaS preferred)

Soft Skills: Having a bias towards action, a good sense of design, empathy, and good communication skills
