We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to design, build, and maintain our website using the WordPress Content Management System. This role involves developing custom modules, managing plugins, building pages for our teams, and ensuring optimal site performance, technical SEO, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, modules, themes, and plugins.
  • Build new pages and features for internal teams while maintaining consistency with site architecture.
  • Manage technical aspects of the website, including performance, scalability, and security.
  • Monitor Google Search Console and other analytics tools to ensure technical AEO & SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth site functionality and timely resolution of problems.
  • Optimize site performance and user experience using debugging tools, frameworks, AEO & SEO strategies.
  • Manage third-party integrations, including APIs and tools like Git for version control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align web projects with business and marketing goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP specific to WordPress development.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience implementing SEO best practices and technical SEO optimization.
  • Experience with plugin development, troubleshooting, and site performance enhancements.
  • Familiarity with security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with third-party API integrations and code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
