Job Description for Design Quality Checker:

  • Check all 2D drawings released by the customer and ensure compliance with global drawing standards.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to maintain design quality.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions with designers.
  • Coordinate and align with the team to improve and update drawing quality.
  • Check 3D models for interference and clearance.
  • Check DMU (Digital Mock-Up) for digital validation, i.e., envelope and linkage study of movable and vibrating parts.
  • Check 3D models for manufacturability.
  • Ensure BOM structure for assemblies (parent and child with quantity and position in 3D).
  • Maintain a tracker and follow up with designers for required corrections.
  • Identify and propose sustainable automation solutions for error-free design release.
  • Maintain vehicle DMUs for each variant and follow up on corrections.

** Candidate should be ready to join immediately or latest within 4 weeks
