Role OverviewAs Director of Marketing Analytics, you will lead the data-driven marketing function, focusing on strategy, measurement, and optimization to accelerate business growth in a dynamic SaaS environment. This pivotal role involves steering the marketing analytics roadmap, managing a specialized analytics team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into tangible organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the marketing analytics strategy and long-term roadmap aligned with SaaS business objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing analysts and data scientists focused on extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Drive the measurement, reporting, and optimization of multi-channel campaigns (digital, organic, paid, ABM), including forecasting, attribution, and ROI analysis.
- Partner with product, sales, and engineering teams to unify customer, product, and market data for enhanced growth opportunities.
- Develop new methodologies for mining and leveraging data (including AI, ML, and predictive analytics) to improve marketing investment and performance.
- Oversee dashboard creation, KPI benchmarking, and performance analysis to support exec-level insights and decision-making.
- Design and implement processes for data governance, security, and compliance across the SaaS platform.
- Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and influence company-wide marketing priorities.
- Foster a culture of analytics adoption and continual technical skill development in SQL, Python, R, and MarTech platforms.
- 12-15 years experience in marketing analytics roles, with 5 years in a SaaS B2B environment.
- Mastery of data analytics, digital marketing KPIs, performance tracking, and statistical modeling (market mix, attribution, regression).
- Proven leadership in managing analytics teams and collaborating across functions (sales, product, engineering).
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, R, and modern MarTech/BI platforms. Strong communicator able to influence C-suite and cross-functional teams.
- Experience implementing AI/ML in marketing analytics is a plus.
- Strategic thinker, hands-on executor, and proactive innovator with a growth mindset.
