We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedSB Authorto join ourAerospace Technical Publications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently authoring and revisingStandard (STD) Service Bulletins (SB)for Airbus aircraft programs, specifically in theAirframe (ATA 5057)andHydro Mechanical & Cargo systems (ATA 11, 12, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, 33, 7X)domains. This role spans across Airbus platforms includingWB, SA, LR, MB, and XWB, and requires strong technical analysis and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author and revise/legacy Service Bulletins as per SBO requirements.
  • Perform configuration analysis to identify pre- and post-mod drawings (RSE/UPG process).
  • Apply Airbus documentation standards:S1000D,iSpec2200,ASD-STE100.
  • Conduct technical analysis of criteria and related data sources.
  • Study aircraft zones and access to define work locations.
  • Author SBs using tools such as:
  • SAMM DACAS
  • TAKSY
  • GIDOCA
  • GYPSY
  • ZAMIZ
  • PASS SSCI
  • APS
  • Work withSAP PCSfor configuration and data management.
  • Handle cold working SBs and related procedures.
  • Follow authoring sequences as per the Quality Plan.
  • Estimate timelines and commit realistically to project schedules.
  • Communicate actively with customers to resolve queries.
  • Perform mock-up and authoring usingArbortext or Epic Editor.
  • Maintain quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and manage workload effectively.
  • Follow workflow processes includingINC,DCR, and quality checks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using5 Whyand8Dmethods (NCR handling).

Primary Skills

  • Strong experience in authoring STD SBs for Airbus programs:WB, SA, LR, MB, XWB.
  • Proficiency in Airframe and Hydro Mech & Cargo ATA chapters.
  • Hands-on expertise with Airbus authoring and configuration tools.
  • Deep understanding of engineering drawings and aircraft systems.

Secondary Skills

  • Familiarity with documentation standards:
  • ATA100
  • iSpec2200
  • S1000D
  • ASD-STE100
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering
  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineeringwith aerospace industry exposure
  • AMEwith airline and SB authoring experience
  • Looking for 4 -9Yrs grade for Bangalore location
