Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, overseeing budgeting and compliance, and most importantly, managing and optimizing cash flow to support strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cash Flow Management (Core Focus)

· Monitor daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

· Develop rolling cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to proactively manage short-term and long-term liquidity.

· Identify cash flow improvement opportunities and implement controls to reduce leakages or inefficiencies.

· Optimize working capital—manage payables, receivables, and inventory turnover to improve cash cycles.

· Advise management on investment and funding strategies based on cash positions and forecasts.

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

· Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

· Analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations.

· Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment between operational and financial goals.

  1. Accounting and Reporting

· Oversee accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS.

· Ensure reconciliation of all key accounts and resolve discrepancies.

· Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

  1. Compliance and Risk Management

· Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory laws and financial regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act).

· Maintain strong internal controls and continuously assess financial risks.

· Ensure all filings and reporting obligations are completed on time.

  1. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

· Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team.

· Act as a key business partner to cross-functional teams.

· Present financial reports and strategies to senior management and the board.
