PURPOSE OF THE ROLEProduct specialist is part of product development team and needs to liaise with different members of the development team to drive projects forward. This includes providing technical & domain knowledge to the team members, reviewing the product engineer's deliverables, preparing and updating training materials and has expert knowledge on product development procedures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Develop and maintain design specifications, wire frames and interactive prototypes that illustrate interactions and address key user flows; design and construct technical data visualizations for data dependency and relationship modeling.
- Develop required features of the product; Follow best practices to ensure continuous product development operations; Make product updates based on changing business demands.
- Translate user research findings into effective solutions; Interpret and extend design principles and user pattern libraries.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and users to iterate designs from discovery through development.
- Review the feature development of the reportees and provide the corrective feedback; provide technical support to the team members
- Mentor and coach product engineers and complete all mandatory/non mandatory trainings and certifications for self-development
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering
- A minimum 5-7 years of experience in a traditional Product Engineer role
- Domain knowledge for which the Product is (being) developed is required
- Knowledge of software implementation and packaging
