Required specific functional skills:
Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance Experience in Heavy Duty Gas & Steam Turbines, its Auxiliaries & 6.6KV Rotary Equipment.

Brief Description Of the job:

  1. Carrying out running maintenance, preventive, predictive & proactive maintenance of all Gas /Steam Turbine, Nat.Gas/Sea Water/Fire Protection/Cranes /Hoist system Rotating and stationary equipment.
  2. Follow up all legal/statutory & latest ISO/OSHAS std required for the plant.
  3. Equipment Inspection/Overhaul schedule preparation, carrying out Inspections of GT /ST, GT Hot parts management, Overhauling & servicing of all types of rotating/stationary equipment and all types of Valves.
  4. Diagnosing and troubleshooting the defects in all types of equipment
  5. Annual Budget preparation, planning of job, spares, tools & consumables for routine and major Shut Down and follow up.
  6. Fixing /maintaining AMCs, Contractors and contracting the jobs to vendors, OEM etc.
  7. Inventory management and optimization
  8. Safe working assessment including JSA (Job safety analysis) and HIRA(Hazard identification and Risk assessment).
  9. Monitoring and ensuring that equipment is performing effectively and efficiently
  10. Establishes and monitors programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring techniques
  11. Provides technical guidance for Maintenance Systems such as ERP.
  12. Maintains and advises on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items, and rental equipment.
  13. Check the Behavior of the various equipment's with optimum operation parameters and its reliable suitability to put into regular service and Plan/carryout reliability improvement works are required.
