Job Title: Technical Lead

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Experience: 6+ years

Key Skills: Core Java, Multithreading, Spring, Strong understanding of key Agile concepts

Role Expectations:

  • Lead the team independently.

  • Coordinate with multiple teams.

  • Demonstrate strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact promptly and professionally across teams.

  • Take full ownership of the technical delivery of the project and ensure that all dependencies are delivered on time.

  • Effectively communicate the team's progress and concerns to management.

  • Implement best practices and coding standards for the project.

  • Conduct thorough code and design reviews to ensure quality.

  • Select the appropriate Agile processes for the project and ensure strict adherence by the team. Maintain compliance during project audits.

  • Develop detailed designs for all product requirements.

  • Provide accurate estimation plans for project activities.

  • Show a desire to learn and continuously improve product quality, performance, and other non-functional requirements.

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing product and business priorities.

  • Effectively prioritize and delegate work to team members.

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the development changes made by the team.

  • Mentor the team and train new hires.

  • Actively contribute to organizational activities.

  • Conduct project closure meetings with higher management and showcase quality metrics after System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) completion.

  • Ensure the team remains happy, motivated, and productive.

  • Ensure that the necessary hardware and environments are available for development activities.

  • Take ownership of Jenkins management and the release process.

  • Maintain and update all product and technical documentation accurately.

  • Ensure the code quality metrics improve after each release.

  • Communicate risks and challenges promptly, and collaborate with management to resolve them.
