About the Practice: 

The Global Advisory Technology & Enablement Operations team is responsible for managing, administering, and maintaining a portfolio of applications critical to our Global Advisory operations. This includes tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, ARIS Cloud, and various in-house developed applications built on platforms like SharePoint, PowerApps, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

As an Application Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10+ professionals to ensure the smooth operation and administration of our application portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing the application support team to deliver high-quality support and service to our users.
  • Overseeing the administration, maintenance, and management of applications including Jira, Confluence, ARIS Cloud, and SharePoint-based tools.
  • Ensuring high availability and reliability of all applications, implementing robust disaster recovery plans.
  • Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to support the integration and deployment of custom solutions.
  • Collaborating with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation around application configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the performance and efficiency of application support processes.
Qualifications

The Individual

  • 12-14 years of work experience in IT application support or a similar role, with at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Strong experience in managing and administering enterprise-level applications, with familiarity in platforms like Atlassian Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT best practice methodologies.
  • Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell or similar technologies is a plus.
