  • Monitor staff performance and ensure they follow established procedures and service standards.
  • Assist in hiring and interviewing new staff.

Operational and financial oversight

  • Supervise daily food and beverage operations, including pre-shift meetings and service pace.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock control, and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage areas, including dining rooms and kitchens.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to manage food preparation, service flow, and quality.
  • Monitor costs and assist with menu planning and promotions.

Compliance and standards

  • Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Enforce brand standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  • Handle basic maintenance and coordinate with other departments for repairs.
