Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Jewellery Designer with expertise in both Indian and Western diamond jewellery design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, illustrating, and executing innovative designs that align with current trends in fine jewellery. This role requires a strong balance of artistic creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to create visually compelling, high-quality design manuals that communicate complex ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Jewellery Design Conceptualization & Illustration

  • Conceptualize and create innovative jewellery designs by blending traditional Indian and Western styles.

  • Produce detailed sketches, illustrations, and 3D renderings that showcase design accuracy, measurements, and depth.

  • Explore trends in the jewellery industry and generate unique, cutting-edge designs that set new standards in the market.

  • Technical Drawing & Development

  • Create accurate, technically sound designs using a combination of sketches and precise drawings.

  • Review and refine designs to ensure they meet technical standards and specifications.

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to ensure designs are ready for production, maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Software Proficiency

  • Utilize design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and other rendering programs to bring designs to life.

  • Stay updated with relevant software trends and techniques to enhance design output and efficiency.

  • Trend Awareness & Innovation

  • Keep a keen eye on current trends in both fine jewellery design and manual design creation.

  • Study evolving market demands and integrate new design trends into your work, ensuring the brand remains innovative and relevant.

  • Manual & Documentation Design

  • Design visually engaging and clear manuals that accurately depict jewellery designs, including graphics, diagrams, and other visual aids.

  • Select appropriate fonts, colours, and imagery to ensure all materials align with brand aesthetics and guidelines.

  • Organize content logically, ensuring that manuals are easy to follow and comprehensive.

  • Project Management

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Ensure all designs and manuals are delivered on time and to the highest standard of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in jewellery design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both Indian and Western styles.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and other relevant tools.
  • Solid understanding of current trends in fine jewellery and manual design.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to create precise, technically accurate designs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present and discuss design concepts effectively.
