About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and tools, with the ability to design, develop, and execute automated test suites. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications across cloud-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using standard defect tracking tools.

Ensure regression suites are updated and executed regularly as part of CI/CD pipelines.

Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated testing with build and deployment processes.

Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or issues, ensuring proper root cause analysis.

Drive continuous improvement of QA automation frameworks and practices.

Provide clear test documentation, reports, and metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in QA automation for enterprise or cloud-based applications.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

Strong understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).

Experience in writing test cases, designing test frameworks, and working with version control (Git).

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based testing environments (preferably GCP).

Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.

Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
