Platform Engineer

In this role you will get to:

• Own the end-to-end iOS experience for Priceline's flagship app—booking hotels, rental cars, flights, and packages with zero friction.

• Stay ahead of Apple's ecosystem — iOS 26, Xcode 17, latest devices, WidgetKit, App Intents, Live Activities, and ARKit for immersive previews.

• Design & ship A/B experiments from scratch, backed by XCUITest.

• Write bulletproof, testable code using XCTest, TDD, snapshot testing, and property-based testing with SwiftCheck or Quick/Nimble.

• Collaborate daily with Product, Design, Android, and Backend teams to ship stable, scalable features on Apple's latest SDKs.
   

Who you are:

• BS/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.

• 4+ years building production iOS apps; 1+ live app in the App Store (bonus: 100K+ downloads).

• Mastery of Swift (async/await, actors, property wrappers); Objective-C for legacy bridges when needed.

•  Deep expertise in SwiftUI—crafting advanced animations, state-driven interfaces, and custom layouts.

• Strong background in XCTest, XCUITest, and automated testing frameworks, backed by a proven track record of delivering apps with 99.9% crash-free sessions.

• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
