Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an experienced GPR Operator at RAYNAS GEOTECH PVT. LTD., based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for remote work. The primary responsibilities include operating Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment for various geophysical and geotechnical surveys, collecting and analyzing subsurface data, and reporting findings for projects in alignment with company standards. The selected candidate will also collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and efficient project execution while prioritizing safety and quality control.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment, including using drone-based systems for surveys.
- Expertise in data collection, geophysical survey techniques, and interpreting subsurface imaging and geological mapping.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and geophysical investigation processes, including seismic and resistivity tomography surveys.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, along with attention to detail for precise reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in GPR operations or relevant geotechnical and geophysical roles.
- Educational qualifications in geophysics, geology, civil engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with fieldwork, and familiarity with health and safety protocols in geotechnical operations, is a plus.
