Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure

Job Purpose

• To maintain the bucket balances and reduce NPA on the bank's book across Cards portfolio of Partnership and Proprietary cards
• Ensuring that effective tools are applied to recovery losses
• Ensuring all the data requirements are managed well for any inputs needed for analytics , legal inputs, etc.
• Manage the team of Zonal, Regional, Clusters Managers PAN India

Key Accountabilities

• Setting Collection goals and targets for the Cards unit
• Creating and implementing a strategy to improve the collection efficiency across buckets.
• Preparing and Implementing collection policies
• Implementation of C score models and monitoring of portfolio in alignment to the score card
• Ensuring that the company policy on recoveries is followed and that it is in line with Regulatory guidelines
• Working in coordination with Co-Branded Partners on ensuring the Specific provisions are well within the budgets
• Ensuring governance and compliance pertaining to digital lending and credit cards
• Training and mentoring of staff members in the collections department.
• Managing the telecalling unit for Pre-Due and Pre X buckets and ensure SLA on TC productivity, & efficiency

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Responsible for Field Debt Collection of Credit Card Pan India.
• Personal Visit to high POS and Critical customers.
• Identifying the Collection Agencies in the respective Location for Capacity building.
• Managing Agencies and Collection Executives of Agency.
• Ensuring timely allocation in automated environment.
• Delivery of Critical Collection Performance metrics in the location for Cards.
• Ensuring legal guidelines are compiled for entire collection structure in letter and sprits.
• Ensure that the collection agencies and executives adhere to the legal guidelines provided by the law in force.
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.
• Continuously monitoring collection agencies and collection executives to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities.
• Handle customer issues escalations.
• Ensuring documented feedback and action taken on all cases in soft buckets.
• Ensuring adequate "Feet on Street" availability bucket-wise / segment-wise.
• Report for support on mechanism for legal / police issues.
• Ensuring audit queries are complied with & ensuring corrective and preventive action.
• Manage productivity by fixing productivity parameters for Agencies / collection executives monitoring performance against set parameters like DRR and weekly milestones and daily review of agency field executives and agency in the location.
• Delivering AOP targets.

Additional Responsibilities

• Working on implementation of Collection Management system for India Consumer business
• Liasoning with local & regional technology team for timely delivery of various Collection system module
• Acting as a back-up to system administrator for CMS
• Preparing training document for Collection Management system

Required Experience

• At least 15 years of experience in Retail Collection( Experience in Credit Cards collections is a must)

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate along with sound domain knowledge in Retail Collections
