Responsibilities

  • Owning significant architectural and product areas of the platform

  • Building Ad hoc scripts/tools using the technology of your choice to optimize organization operations using tech

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience in consumer products
  • Someone who spends time thinking about product experience as much as they do thinking about language framework
  • Have an awareness about NextJS and Vercel, or intent to pick them up.
  • Collaborative and want to see the team succeed in its goals
  • Practical about tradeoffs between speed and polish
  • Passionate about showing others how to do something new
  • Problem solving, proactive and solution oriented mindset, to spot opportunities and use code to fix it
  • Ability to thrive in startups with a fast-paced environment and take ownership for working through ambiguity
  • Excited to join a lean team in a big company that moves quickly

Our Tech Stack - Our website is built on (a framework that holds React on its base) and hosted on Vercel. We also have our backend as an AWS system that uses various services like CDN, s3, rds, lambdas, kinesis, and a wordpress CMS (content management system) that brings the writer's content to our website readers all around the world.
