IT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, applications, VPN, and networks.
- Manage incident tickets, service requests, escalations, and ensure resolution within SLA timelines.
- Oversee user onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, access provisioning, and IT induction.
- Install, configure, and upgrade systems, enterprise applications, and security tools.
- Ensure smooth functioning of email, collaboration platforms, trading systems, and business-critical applications.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, license management, and vendor coordination.
- Escalate complex issues to L3 or vendor teams; provide both remote and on-site support as required.
- Drive IT governance through Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes; maintain documentation and knowledge base.
- Ensure compliance with RBI NBFC IT Framework, ISO 27001, DPDP Act, and other regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor endpoint security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, patch management, encryption, DLP, and MFA.
- Conduct periodic audits, access reviews, vulnerability assessments, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery drills.
- Lead information security awareness programs, phishing simulations, and staff trainings.
- Monitor and ensure third-party/vendor IT security compliance, especially for cloud-hosted systems.
- Prepare and present Infosec dashboards, risk registers, and compliance reports to senior management and auditors.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and/or Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with network basics (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
- Knowledge of MS Office 365, email systems, antivirus, and endpoint security.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for end-user interaction.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple issues.
- ITIL knowledge or certification (preferred, not mandatory).
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Diploma or relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) will be an added advantage.
