  1. PRE-REQUISITES

  2. Technical expertise on all or either of the following platform

  3. Cisco catalyst and Nexus switching and wireless
  4. Arista switching
  5. HP/Aruba switching and wireless
  6. Meraki switching and wireless
  7. Mist wireless
  8. Infoblox DDI
  9. Strong troubleshooting skill sets
  10. Conceptually strong in the following switching and wireless technology
  11. HSRP/VRRP
  12. STP/VTP
  13. VSS/VPC
  14. Ether-Channels, Stacking of switches (IRF, Cisco Stack)

  15. Stand-alone AP, IAP, Flex-connects, Wireless bridge

  16. RESPONSIBILITIES

  17. Engineers who have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

  18. 24x7 support of Enterprise Networks of large global clients that have a distributed LAN/Wireless/DDI setup
  19. Will be a part of a team of who are responsible for handling (switching/wireless/DDI) network operational/problem management issues.
  20. Ticket resolution - work and resolve trouble tickets, handle ticket escalation
  21. Queue Management - monitor ticket queue, ensure assignment/resolution and closure
  22. Create Method Of Procedure and/or Standard Operating Procedure document
  23. Plan and execute Change Management processes
  24. Performance Tuning of network devices and create Service Improvement Plans
  25. Plan and perform firmware upgrade
  26. Work with hardware/software vendors to resolve problems
  27. Train and mentor juniors
  28. Act as an SME SPOC for certain network products
  29. Interface with customer on calls and lead technical meetings
  30. Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  31. Provide technical inputs for weekly/monthly customer service review reports

  32. Any additional task given to the incumbent from time-to-time based on business needs

  33. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

  34. Cisco certification and Aruba /Juniper certification will be added advantage

  35. EXPERIENCE

  36. Minimum 7 years of progressive, relevant experience and proven capability to work in a complex network environment

  37. EDUCATION

  38. Bachelor in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related field

  39. Graduate/Post Graduate in Science/Math/IT or related streams with relevant technology experience

  40. OTHER SKILLS

  41. Good communication skills - written as well as verbal

  42. Passion to work and learn new technology
  43. ITIL process awareness
