Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Product Consultant (T) with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team as a Manager - Projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire including BillingCenter ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter and a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and domain knowledge to drive project success and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and customization of Guidewire applications including BillingCenter ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter.
  • Oversee project timelines ensuring that all milestones are met within the stipulated time frame.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team ensuring the effective use of Guidewire technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements translating them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including design specifications test plans and user manuals.
  • Ensure the integration of Guidewire applications with existing systems utilizing J2EE Web Services and Gosu where applicable.
  • Conduct regular project reviews identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end-users ensuring a smooth transition to new systems.
  • Monitor and report on project progress providing updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging feedback and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Provide post-implementation support addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background in Guidewire applications including BillingCenter ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter.
  • Demonstrate experience in Property & Casualty Insurance with a deep understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Have proficiency in J2EE Web Services and Gosu with the ability to integrate these technologies into Guidewire solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
